History/Background on the Honorary Colonel (HCOC) and Sergeant Major of the Corps (HSGMC)

Established with the CCRA under the purview of AR 600-82 in 1985 at Fort McClellan, AL.  There have been four HCOC.  They are MG Appel, MG Watson, BG Hidalgo, and currently serving MG Orton.  There has been Two HSGMC.  They are RCSM(R) George Murray and currently serving RCSM(R) Peter Hiltner.
